A first venture for the owner converting a former retail outlet, it is more spacious than some of its type. The front wall opens to the pavement seating area across the width of the premises, on warm sunny days it considerably enlarges the seating capacity. Sadly there is not a lot of room for a cellar so at the moment only keg and keykeg type beers on offer, two of the four which are German Pilsner types from ABK. Some attention has been lavished on the interior décor, the eponymous hatch being a major feature.
