Large, friendly pub, recently re-opened and refurbished. Affiliated to the Blue Lion in Great Baddow. A large open plan room with 3 areas, a bar area, sports bar and carpeted lounge dining area. The sports bar has 2 screens and a games machine.

Welcomes families and dogs. Live music every Friday night and a quiz night once a month. Outside seating area at the front and a new outside seating area to the side planned for the summer. Table service with one changing beer, no pump clips in use so ask which ale is on.
