Overlooking West Park Stray, this is now an upmarket gastro pub, re-opened in July 2022 after a two-year closure, with extensive refurbishment by its new owners, Provenance Inns and Hotels. There is a restaurant upstairs. The new owners have promised to keep the pub true to its heritage as a popular local, but there is now a much-reduced bar area. There are four handpumps serving real ale.
