Reopened 12th April 2021 after extensive refurbishment by Admiral Taverns and the new tenant Lee MacDonald, who has lived and worked in the area for 20 years plus. Sharp's Doom Bar is available keg. Open plan interior with a central horseshoe bar. The wooden beams give the pub a traditional feel, i.e. it feels like a proper pub. Extensive outdoor drinking area to rear with seating for 70+. Second oldest pub in Denton (opened 1818), which still has the original cobbles in front. Food and live music planned from July 2021. Pool team. Available to hire for private functions. On 201 bus route.
