This is a comfortable locals' pub, and is a rare example of a pub that retains a two-room format. The doors to the room on the corner lead you into what was originally a snug, but which has now been incorporated into what used to be the Public Bar. This room is carpeted, contains a pool table, and has some interesting decor including stuffed fish in glass cases. The other room, which used to be the Saloon Bar, can only be reached via separate doors from the side street (or through the door leading to the gents!). This room is only used when the pub gets busy, and is bare-boarded.
