A fine stone-built, low-beamed building, with several small rooms and a pleasant garden. The building apparently dates from 1610 but that might just be the fire-back as the listing says it's early 18th century. In 1793 it became a pub called the Mason's Arms. It was extended into a derelict cottage in the 1970s and became the Clanfield Tavern in the 1990s.
