A warm welcome is assured at this family-run community local, whose landlord has been in situ for more than 36 years. The menu caters for all and includes vegetarian and children’s options. The large garden and play area are popular with families in good weather. A marquee provides the venue for the annual music festival and is available for private hire. Pub games include table skittles. Within a mile is the 18th-century Stamford Hall, with a caravan park and museum.
