Comfortable and very friendly three roomed-local, which has hardly changed in years, except for a few licks of paint. The bar is on the right and there are two separate rooms off to the left, one with a pool table. It has an impressive columned entrance. and a nice beer garden.

The pub has its own men's and ladies darts and dominoes teams; they usually play on Mondays (M) and Tuesdays (L).

Can get very busy on match days being 15 minutes walk from the DW stadium, just over the canal. There is an array of Wigan Athletic memorabilia on the walls. Opening times can vary on match days.
