Formerly a Temperance Hotel located in the town centre, Malton's newest hostelry is a short walk from the railway station. The single-roomed bar is tastefully designed in a rustic style with one wall partially adorned with barrel staves. Two regular changing cask ales are offered together with six key-keg ales. An extensive range of bottled beers are also available. Snacks may be purchased at the bar throughout the day and takeaway meals may be brought into the pub from other sources. There are plans for future folk nights. There is a smoking/drinking area to the rear of the premises and an upstairs seating area.
