Unusually set pub, with main road dropping steeply away down the side of it. Three rooms around central bar area, one room has unusual chalet style ceiling. Always two ales on, plus a third at weekends. Good reputation for food, especially steaks. Friendly and welcoming staff, runs darts and domino teams. Flatscreen TV in public bar for sports, but is not obtrusive and frequently is silent.
