Situated in the heart of Portree, capital of the Isle of Skye, above the harbour, this quality 4 star hotel offers lovely accommodation and first class Highland customer service.

The Merchant Bar was once the village bank. At least two Isle of Skye beers with "guest" beers from Highland or the Orkney breweries from March to October.

Depending on how cold it is, one or both stoves in the bar are sure to keep you toastie!

The Bar is open daily from 12 (noon) till 10pm, food from 12 to 4.30pm (12.30 on Sundays).

Dulse & Brose restaurant is only open for meals from 5pm with the last sitting being at 8.30pm.

Why Dulse & Brose?

Old Gaelic for seaweed and ground uncooked barley which is the speciality bread on the menu.
