If you like dark wood, distinct drinking areas with a variety of seating in a split level pub with a well stocked bar this is the pub for you. The numerous rooms, including three upstairs, are decorated to a high degree with bare brick walls, period style furniture and historic photos. There are four real fires in various rooms. An extensive paved garden area is a sun trap in summer. The old stabling buildings to the rear will soon re-open as The Tapas Bar. Serves Cheese and Charcuterie Boards during meal times. Booking advised at weekends.

This is a split-level pub with numerous rooms, including three upstairs, with period furniture and historic photos on some bare brick walls. There are four real fires. The old stabling buildings to the rear have been converted to a craft ale bar. Grade II-listed. Real ales but no food. Opens mid-afternoon Mondays to Thursdays.
