A pub has stood on this site since the 16th century; some of the original structure remains, but most of the current building is Georgian. Interior opened up into a single room in 2021. Fresh gastro food is served Tuesday to Sunday lunchtimes. Large garden at the back of the pub with plenty of seating and tables. Occasional quiz nights. Live band quarterly.
