Historic pub on corner of Victoria Avenue and West Road Prittlewell. Close to Southend United Football club and it was in the pub that the club was founded in 1906 and a blue plaque on the wall commemarates this fact. Pub was closed in 2010 but has re-opened though much smaller than what it used to be. Serves 1 real ale but no food is served. Karaoke on Friday nights, DJ on Saturdays and live singer on Sundays. Pub quizzes and Pool competitions are also held weekly. Pub can get busy on match days and is the designated away fans pub.
