The Black Lion a food led pub set in the historic village of Appledore, which can trace its history back to the Viking times when it was a busy port and now a quiet village in the heart of Kent.

There is a large patio to the front and the bar is decorated with an interesting collection of pump clips above and around the bar and, also a collection of blow lamps behind the bar. Handy for ramblers on the Saxon Shore Way and the Royal Military Canal.
