A short walk from the train and bus station, the pub has an impressive selection of constantly changing real ales and sometimes a real cider.

The pub is open plan with comfortable seating and various quieter areas. In winter, warming comfort is provided by an open fire with a tiled, cast iron surround.

The staff offer a warm welcome to all, even during their busier periods. Pub meals are available during the day on Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Entertainment is held regularly on Saturday nights and there are sports TVs spread around the pub.

Dogs are welcome in all areas.
