Handsome, thatched village pub with a large garden near the River Great Ouse. A popular stop for walkers with the Harrold-Odell Country Park just down the lane. Sympathetic refurbishment and a series of linked but distinct seating areas help retain a traditional pub atmosphere. Good value, quality food includes a Sunday roast, steak and chips Monday evening, and pie and chips Tuesday. Tea and cakes are available all day. Local CAMRA Most Improved Pub 2016 and a Lockdown Hero 2020. The licensees also run the Muntjac in nearby Harrold.
