This 17th century former coaching inn is very much a community pub. The Exmoor brewery is nearby and the onsite "Black Bear" Micro Brewery brews from the Bear Inn's outbuildings. An outside bar will operate during the summer during day times and weekend evenings. There are two rooms sharing one bar, a children's area and garden.

Good value meals and daily specials, using local produce where possible. A breakfast is served on a Sunday.

Close to Exmoor and the Brendon Hills.
