A former bank; it has a bare-boards floor, wooden furniture and a series of alcoves with tables in the tradition of older Scottish city pubs. At least three ales usually on. Live music is performed on most Friday and Saturday nights, with details notified via their Facebook page. The nearest pub selling real ale to the train station. Pub of the Year 2022.
