At the front is a functional local's bar with bench seating, a pool table, TV and some comfy sofas by the log burning stove. To the rear is a pleasant restaurant area. There’s a good choice of dishes that are served all day, more good pub food than gastro style. The three hand pumps serve Black Sheep Bitter plus two beers, often from High House Farm. Campervans can park for free and there is waste disposal provided.
