This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

'Dining at Ampfield Golf Club' is open to, and welcomes non-members. The restaurant has a small lounge and bar, and a large dining room, all with good views of the attractive par-3 golf course. Note that the dining room is sometimes reserved for functions, whence dining is restricted to the lounge. A modest menu of good quality food is served at breakfast and lunch; the restaurant is also bookable for groups of 20+ in the evening.

Opening times are quoted as '8.30am to dusk' but it may be worth checking. It also remains open for pre-booked private functions.
