Recently refurbished and now selling up to three real ales, The Amethyst is in an area not usually associated with selling real ale and thus is very welcome. It's particularly handy for visiting the new Queen Elizabeth hospital in Govan. The pub is open for breakfast early during the week but does not serve alcohol till later.
