The bar opened in November 2019, just before the COVID lockdowns and was predominantly a keg-only bar until the summer of 2023. There is a small outdoor seating area at the font and a deceptively large interior that is furnished to a very high standard.

There are currently three handpumps, with plans to add an additional one. Two pumps serve Wye Valley Ales, often Butty Bach & HPA. The third pump serves a changing beer, often from a local brewery. Details of current beers can always be found on the Facebook & Instagram pages.

Simple snacks are available (cheese & ham cobs, pork pies as well as cakes and flapjacks).

Happy Hour is from 15:00 – 20:00 on Monday’s.

The bar is dog and child friendly (until 8 pm). Limited free parking is available immediately outside.
