The pub reopened in November 2022 after a major refit. The bar has been moved and is now facing the front door. Three handpulls at opening with two in use . An small orangery has been built on the front The pub has fine views over the Houghton countryside, Food is served every day from an extensive menu .

Note all the memorabilia throughout the pub, including the Elvis statue in the restaurant
