The Wine Cellar is situated in a basement just off the market place, and is independent and privately owned since 2010. There is an outside courtyard, bar and restaurant seating for drinks and food, with lunch menu finishing at 2.30pm then 6pm to 9pm evening except Mondays.

Sunday roasts are served 12pm -3pm and every Tuesday night is free entry for live music in the bar which rotates through acts such as Lee Vasey, Gary Winter, Amy Morris and jazz with Jan Jinkerson or Maria sax.

The restaurant is available for private functions, with buffet or sit down meals priced per head, leaving the bar open to the public, or the complete bar and restaurant can be booked for a fixed fee.
