Dating from 1360, the oldest pub in Ilfracombe and one of the town's earliest buildings, The George & Dragon is handily close to the harbour and pier. Three real ales are on offer in an atmosphere of wooden beams and large fireplaces. Fresh local produce, including vegetables and herbs from the pub's garden, is sourced for the wide range of bar snacks and home cooked meals available every day. There is out-front seating and dogs are welcome.
