A comfortable family-run local on the edge of Weardale up the hill from Crook towards Durham. The interior is open plan but with distinct drinking and dining areas. The beers are nearly always from local breweries. Home-cooked quality food is available to cater for all tastes. Formerly known as the Colliery.
