17th Century roadside pub reopened after comprehensive refurbishment. To the left is a lounge with restaurant to the rear, while to the right is a public bar - the snug - and behind that a games room with pool and darts. Two wood-burners supplement the ground-source central heating.

Reopened in new ownership Summer 2021 under its original name.
