Now part of the Big Smoke chain, the pub was built in 1964 and the name refers to a ship from the Napoleonic Wars. This one “L shaped” bar hostelry holds a quiz night every Tuesday. Comfortable feeling and atmosphere. Real fire. Various food and drink deals are offered during the week as detailed on the pub's website. There is a decked rear garden and an inviting front garden with grass and benches. One of the two changing beers listed will usually be available along with two others. Accredited for beer quality during 2022.
