Reopened in November 2022 as Vocation & Co, part of a small chain of pubs run by Vocation Brewery. This includes the premises next door, previously known as The Alex.

Vocation & Co Halifax features a ground-floor level taproom with eight Cask and 18 Keg lines. On the second-floor is The Projectionist - named as a nod to the building's history as an Art Deco cinema - where they serve cocktails and another 8 keg lines in a calmer, more intimate setting (open Thursday to Sunday - 5pm - Late). There is also a Roof Terrace bar seating 60 people, with 4 Keg lines, seasonal spritz menu and frozen cocktails all year round daily from noon.

Food is provided by Wonder Wheel New York-style pizza, who produce giant 18" pizzas, available by the slice or the whole pie.

It has been reported that disabled access is poor, with one small step to enter the building, although an accessible toilet is available. High noise levels and poor acoustics are reported at busy times.
