Hotel, Bar & Restaurant.
The Sligachan Hotel and Seumas' Bar enjoys a splendid setting between the Black Cuillin and the sparkling waters of Loch Sligachan. Ideally located for touring Skye or as a stop-off en-route to the Western Isles, the cosy hotel and bar have served mountaineers, walkers and lovers of the wild Highland scenery for nearly 180 years, and has been in the same family for the last century.
The hotel bars - MacKenzies Bar and Collie's Lounge (named after two pioneers of Cuillin climbing) are open from March until early January.
The larger Seumas' Bar (named after a special family dog that used to frequent the premises) is normally open from April until September, having undergone a major refurbishment in 2017.
Beers from the on-site Cuillin Micro Brewery are available on hand pump in addition to the occasional guest beers [2022-05-27 there is a report that the bar is down to a single hand pump]. A range of lagers and bottled beers are also available.
Seumas' Bar stocks over 450 Scottish single malt whiskies - a must see!
Opening times vary seasonally - refer to Facebook or get in touch.
[Update 29 Jun 2023: Report of a single hand pump with Orkney Northern Lights. Cuillin Lager (5.0%) is on keg font with accompanying notice that the Cuillin beer available varies. The Cuillin brewery & shop next door seem to be open normally].
