This long-standing old country inn was the Island's first beer exhibition house and offers up to five ales including Locale favourite Island Brewery Wight Gold. A good range of home-cooked food is served, including the famous Cyrilburger. With a recently [2021] refurbished garden with stage and play area and camping nearby the pub is a good base for visitors as well as a thriving local community centre. Popular events are Derek's Sunday Quiz at 8:30 and Bingo night on Monday.
