Town centre pub opposite former Market. One room with a long bar with six handpumps for real ale and four for cider (but see the note further down). The beer range should be expected to be reduced in winter. The pub has the modern feel of a craft beer bar with live music at weekends. The first floor has been renovated to form the Lions Den, open in the evenings and available for private hire. Gluten Free beer in bottles available.

Guernsey CAMRA Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020. Guernsey Cider Pub of the Year 2020.

May 2022 report said 2 real ales and 2 ciders on sale, December 2022 report said 3 real ales and no real cider.

Reports May & October 2023 - only one Real Ale - Doom Bar.
