The interior consists mainly of a U-shaped room with a central servery and a restaurant to the rear which has some old panelling. At the rear, the car park and courtyard are surrounded by an attractive range of old outbuildings; then there is a small walled garden with picnic tables.

Historic Interest

A former coaching inn at an important and occasionally hazardous road junction. Probably 18th century with a Georgian frontage.
