NB Admiral Taverns searching for a tenant, December 2023.

The interior consists of one large, elongated U-shaped room. Popular with Rugby supporters and frequented by Birstall Rugby team whose team photographs adorn the walls. Currently, no meals are served, but cheese & onion cobs are available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Historic Interest

This was an ancient small thatched cottage pub, owned by Sharp's Brewery of Sileby (old photo in the bar); it was rebuilt in the early-20c. Sharp's was taken over by Strettons of Derby in 1920, and the pub was later owned by Ind Coope of Burton.
