A private club, but visitors welcome.

Although accessed from Birstall Road, Birstall, the premises are located within the Leicester City boundary. The site is owned by the Midlands Co-operative Society, and contains facilities for rugby union, tennis and bowls. The small 'Dog House' bar is managed by Birstall Rugby Club, and is normally only open on match days and during training sessions. The bar welcomes visitors during the season, matches being played on Saturday afternoons. Charnwood real ale is occasionally available; otherwise, there are two 'craft' keg ales from Theakston's. There is a large function room available for hire.
