A thriving Alpine-style rustic cafe bar in the Sunderland Street quarter. Since opening in 2011, its décor has remained true to its roots. Attracting an amalgam of clientèle from all backgrounds, it will appeal to real ale drinkers, mountaineers, skiers and anyone who has a love of the outdoors, homely surroundings and log fires. Seating and table furniture is varied and plentiful throughout. Regular ale is Bosley Cloud from Storm Brewery (approximately 400m away), and the rotating guests are from from Wincle. Ales are predominantly dispensed via hand-pump, but new craft style ales may be served from keg or key keg.
