This friendly community hub is a joy to visit; with railway memorabilia adorning the walls, flagstoned floors, warm fires and a large beer garden. Local CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2008 and 2013-2017, with fifteen ciders and perries in their cellar and 30 plus bottled real ciders. Several local cider producers drink here, and love explaining their craft to visitors. Regular live music features most weekends, with a Quiz on Thursday's. There is an Indian restaurant upstairs.
