17th century pub with a long and colourful history. Used to be one of the few pubs in the country that could boast its own railway halt. Re-opened as a gloriously upmarket breakfast and luncheon venue. Homemade cakes a specialty. Warm fires in Winter. Book in advance for Sunday lunch.
