Some time local CAMRA Pub of the Year, this lively Georgian Inn, perched beside a busy road, features a convivial lounge with wood-burner, a pub games dominated public bar and a popular skittle alley. Run by the same family for over thirty years, this lovely freehouse features low-beamed ceilings, horse brasses and brewery pictures. Fresh flowers grace the immaculate toilets. Sunny outside seating is popular with local dog walkers. They host a Summer beer festival in the small car park at the front. Purchased by the Selby family in 1990.
