Convivial 370 year old village inn with a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Emphasis on food. Reservation advised for food. Now an unashamedly up-market dining and drinking establishment, twinned with the luxurious hotel just down the road, the Barnsley House Hotel. This convivial 370 year old village inn has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere (although one of the bedrooms is haunted). A symphony of wood and natural stone inside, the layout reflects the original layout of the building, formerly the Greyhound Inn, with several differing dining areas available, including the attractive patio. They have a wonderful real fire on cold nights.
