Quiet village pub in a secluded small village close to the Cloud Trail that is popular with walkers and cyclists. Became a community-owned free house in 2018 to protect the pub from housing development.

The Worthington 6 mile Fun Run starts from the pub. Bingo: last Tuesday of the month. Village Bonfire on November 5th.

Closing times may be flexible if customers remain thirsty. Filled cobs daily. Saturday: Food van, Sunday: Roast cobs.
