This grade 2 listed pub,thatched and with oak beams is near to open countryside on the north side of Shepshed. With a large and leafy garden, food is served at lunchtimes and in the early evenings.

There is an ever changing selection of cask beers from mostly local breweries served in the back bar - The Shack. On Mondays, 4 p.m. - 7.30 p.m,. the Cask Ale Club has all cask ales £2.50 per pint in both bars.
