A restaurant with a bar, rather than a pub, this is a part of the Beefeater chain of steakhouses. The bar enjoys a busy trade and a cosy atmosphere. It offers Wainwright plus another rotating ale each month, and also stocks a large choice of bottled ales. Popular with locals and the after-work crowd, plus guests from the adjoining Premier Inn, it has a very relaxed ambiance with a sociable atmosphere. It boasts a function room, and buffet menus alongside their a la carte and daytime lunch menus. All in all, the Bamford is well worth a visit whether for a drink or meal. Food served daily till 10.
