The former Cains Brewery flagship pub now serving beers from other sources. An impressive Victorian interior consisting of four distinctively different drinking areas, of which the green tiled room is particularly handsome. Medical memorabilia can be found throughout, reflecting the fact that the pub’s name commemorates Doctor Duncan, the first chief medical officer of Liverpool and a ruthless campaigner against poor living conditions in Victorian Liverpool.

The Grade II-listed former Pearl Insurance Regional Office has a stunning ceramic tiled entrance and an impressive Victorian interior with four distinct drinking areas. The entrance and the green tiled room are the main attractions. The tiled room is front right and is particularly handsome.
