Situated in the town centre, this is a popular music venue, and can be very busy, Friday and Saturday nights. Food available every day and is home-cooked (proper chips, home-made desserts, Sunday carvery). Following a major flood, the bar has been repainted ina tasteful light grey and red colour. From 1 to 3 rotating guest ales (sourced locally or regionally) are usually available.
