Two-roomed village local occupying a prominent position in centre of the long main street. The brick building is painted cream with a green trim. A fine pub sign is prominent. The pub has recently introduced traditional English high tea.

Historic Interest

On the 5th April 2016, Rushcliffe Borough Council rejected the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA's nomination of the Kings Head as an Asset of Community Value. This was on the grounds that the local branch of CAMRA did not meet Rushcliffe Borough Council's requirements for an eligible local connection.

The King's Head is in Rushcliffe Borough Council's Sutton Bonington Conservation Area.

Recorded as a public house in 1855 under publican G. Domleo and A. Wesson in 1876 (Post Office Directories).

As at November 2017, the freehold for the King's Head (NT257006) was held by Admiral Taverns Limited [Reg. No. 5438628].
