Nestled between the quiet charm of Southend’s conservation area and the bustle of the High Street, The Mews exudes a secluded and comfortable character particularly suited to relaxed wining and dining. The welcoming ambience can also be enjoyed in the popular bar, along with a wide range of fine wines, spirits, cocktails and draught beers with bottled real ale now being served with 5 ales from Nethergate. The delicious food provides for diners whose tastes lie with traditional European fare, as well as those centred on the more exotic flavours found in Asian cuisine. An eclectic selection of classic and contemporary cocktails, featuring firm favourites as well as house specialities are available in the bar. The diverse wine list features robust old world vines alongside fresh, vibrant new world selections, sure to please the most discerning of drinkers
