A community-owned local which hosts beer festivals and events throughout the year. It has two pool teams and darts is played in the public bar. PumpHouse Community Brewery is next door. This village is the only place in the UK to have a pub, brewery and shop all owned by the community. Meals may need booking, and group pre-booking at lunchtime is possible on weekdays. Fish and chips (including to take away) on Friday, bacon rolls on Saturday, and Sunday lunch. Closing time depends on whether there are customers, check if intending to arrive late.
