The 2023 East Norfolk CAMRA runner up to both Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year. This Victorian corner pub has really made its mark as a must visit destination in the short time since it reopened. It is next to the 13th century town walls; Great Yarmouth has the third best in the country after Chester and York. It is next to the very best sections that are preserved. There is a pleasant outside seating area. The landlord is an enthusiasic CAMRA member. He focuses on East Anglian produced ales and ciders wherever possible. CAMRA award winning beers are prioritised along with a varied range of styles. Now also featuring a wide choice of bottled Belgian Beers, with some on draft. Light snacks and an interesting selection of hot drinks are also on offer, with a more extensive menu at weekends. A real gem of a pub, well worth seeking out. CAMRA DISCOUNT VOUCHER SCHEME MEMBER.
